Funeral service is at Islington Crematorium on Wednesday 27th September 2023 at 4pm

Site entrance is at junction of High Road and Viaduct Road. (PLEASE DO NOT go via the Coppetts Road gate off the North Circular as it is closed)

The crematorium building itself is at the junction of Jordan Hill and High View Road

There is plenty of parking on High View Road on either side of the junction with Jordan Hill.

There are toilets in the crematorium building.

Local parking restrictions are in force until 6:30pm. Before this time, you can park in Resident Permit Holders bays (NOT Business Permit Holders bays) in Islington E Zone (eg Theberton Street, Gaskin Street, Packington Street and most of Liverpool Road). NB if using more than one 30min voucher at a time, they must both show the SAME time of arrival. Please collect parking vouchers from Sam at the crematorium. This should get you to within 500m of the restaurant, although passengers can be dropped off right outside the restaurant so long as the driver then parks the car elsewhere.

Alternatively, also around 500m away, there is 2 hours free parking available for customers at Sainsburys carpark (entrance on Tolpuddle Street, next to the police station). If they have managed to fix the parking card machine at the entrance, you will need to spend at least £10 in Sainsburys and ask the cashier to validate your parking card. If they haven't fixed it, and the machine at the entrance is still covered up, it seems like it’s effectively free. For anyone who wants to pull an Olaf, you could park, spend £10, get the parking card validated, come to the restaurant, and refund your £10 purchase on the way back to your car (Sainsburys store closes at midnight). He would be proud of you.
